• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to facilitate seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and services, resolving issues as they arise.
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.
• Monitor cloud usage and spending, optimizing costs where possible and recommending budget adjustments.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and new technologies in cloud computing.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar.
• Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO).
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.).
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and practices.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Cloud SQL) and data management.
• Knowledge of serverless computing and services (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments and hybrid models.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Slack) for team communication and project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Familiarity with big data services (AWS EMR, Google BigQuery) and analytics tools.
