We’re looking for an Android Developer for an international startup. They provide a cloud-based freight and transportation management solution designed to help shipping third-party logistics, and carrier businesses streamline the entire supply chain lifecycle.

Requirements

checked icon Postsecondary education in Computer Science or related field
checked icon 5+ years of experience with Android Development
checked icon 3+ years of experience with Kotlin Development
checked icon Expert in leveraging REST-based APIs
checked icon Experience with push notifications, location services, and Google Maps
checked icon Experience with Architecture Components, Navigation, Coroutines, and Retrofit
checked icon Experience building applications with best practice architectures - Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVC, or MVP
checked icon Understanding of OOP, concurrency, and UI driven design principles
checked icon Familiarity with mobile principles of good UX, UI, and design-centric thinking including Material Design
checked icon Consistent record of building high-quality software and delivering amazing applications

Nice to have

checked icon 2+ years of experience with Java Development
checked icon 2+ years of experience managing and monitoring deploys on the Google Play Store
checked icon 1+ years of experience building UIs with Jetpack Compose

Responsibilities

checked icon Build best-in-class mobile applications
checked icon Ensure quality throughout the mobile product and drive for perfection
checked icon Own the entire development lifecycle, including development methodologies, thorough tracking, and quality of the final delivery (including production)
checked icon Work with product, design, and go-to-market teams to deployment and development timelines
checked icon Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-facing experimentation
checked icon Own features from the design phase all the way to pushing the application to the app store
