Typical duties and responsibilities

10. Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed.

Required skills and experience

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

• Additional certifications, such as Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
• Experience with advanced accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain financial information clearly.
