Typical duties and responsibilities

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks for native and hybrid front-end development, such as Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusive and user-friendly designs for all users.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with designers and developers.

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS, for improved styling efficiency and maintainability.
• Knowledge of build tools and task runners such as Webpack or Gulp, to streamline the development workflow and optimize performance.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools like Adobe XD or Figma, to better understand and implement design concepts and prototypes.
• Understanding of back-end technologies and APIs, including:
  • API architecture and integration, such as RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
  • Basic knowledge of server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python) and frameworks.
  • Experience with API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, to effectively contribute to iterative and collaborative project environments.
