Typical duties and responsibilities

  • Author and curate high-quality instructional content that aligns with learning objectives and instructional strategies.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and other team members to gather information and validate content accuracy.
  • Utilize various instructional technologies and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to produce multimedia-rich learning experiences.
  • Implement evaluation methods (e.g., surveys, assessments) to gather feedback, assess their effectiveness, and revise training materials.
  • Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that all instructional materials are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and learning methodologies.
  • Conduct training sessions and support learners during onboarding or skill development workshops.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of course materials, design processes, and evaluation outcomes.

Required skills and experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Suite, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and multimedia production tools.
  • Familiarity with instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess learner needs, evaluate solutions, and measure effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and time management.
