Typical duties and responsibilities

1. Design and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform to fulfill business requirements.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications to ensure seamless operations.
4. Maintain data integrity and data quality within Salesforce.
5. Develop and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce solutions.
6. Offer continuous support and maintenance for Salesforce applications.
7. Keep current with the latest Salesforce features and best practices.
8. Conduct regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce upgrades.

Required skills and experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce and Lightning components.
• Experience with Salesforce data modeling, management and security.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools (such as MuleSoft, Informatica etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Nice to have/preferred skills and experience (not required)

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with other CRM platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and other web technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
