Typical duties and responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.

• Configure Salesforce applications and workflows to meet business needs and ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and project managers to implement solutions.
• Provide guidance on how to use Salesforce features effectively, including custom objects, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
• Perform data analysis and quality checks to ensure that Salesforce systems are accurately capturing and reporting data.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and training for end-users to ensure proper adoption of Salesforce tools and processes.
• Support post-implementation activities, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Salesforce configurations and integrations.
• Document processes, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate training and knowledge sharing.
• Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce updates and features to recommend improvements and new functionalities.

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in CRM systems.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and AppExchange apps.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, reports, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Salesforce development tools (Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst).
• Experience with integrations between Salesforce and other systems (ERP, marketing platforms, etc.).
• Knowledge of Apex or other Salesforce development languages.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning UI and customization.
• Experience working in industries such as finance, healthcare, or retail using Salesforce.
• Strong data analysis skills, with experience using tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.
